Cases in children range from prevention and sealants to treatment of baby teeth. What is appropriate depends on age, on the tooth, and on how the child copes with the examination.
More time is usually set aside for a child, because cooperation is part of the treatment.
A parent or guardian must be present and give consent. The supervising teacher reviews the case and decides whether it suits the particular exercise.
If the child is very anxious, or the case calls for a specialist approach, you may be directed to a different form of care.
