Terms of Use
1. What the platform is
UniDent is an online platform for discovery, communication and appointment coordination between patients and dental students from the faculties in Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna. The platform is not a healthcare facility, does not provide medical or dental services, does not perform diagnostics and is not a party to the relationship between the patient and the faculty.
2. Role of the students
Profiles on the platform belong to dental students, not independently practising dentists. All examinations and treatment take place only within the relevant faculty, according to its rules and under academic supervision.
3. Registration and account
Sending requests requires registration with a confirmed email address. Users are responsible for the accuracy of their data and for safeguarding access to their account. The platform may refuse, restrict or terminate access upon violation of these terms.
4. Requests and arrangements
Sending or accepting a request is an organizational step and does not guarantee that any particular treatment will be performed. The suitability of each case is assessed within the faculty and may require teacher approval.
5. Prohibited conduct
The following are prohibited: misleading information, impersonation, spam, offensive or discriminatory content, collecting other people's personal data, and any use of the platform contrary to applicable law.
6. Liability
The platform is not liable for the outcome of examinations or treatment, for cancelled visits, or for the relationship between the patient and the faculty. The platform's liability is limited to providing the intermediary service with due care.
7. Changes
These terms may be amended. Registered users are notified in advance of material changes, and continued use after they take effect constitutes acceptance.
Scope of the platform
The platform helps coordinate appointments for specific dental faculty departments: paediatric dentistry, periodontology (gum treatment, mainly scaling), conservative dentistry (fillings and endodontic/root-canal treatment), maxillofacial surgery (extractions) and prosthetics (crowns and dentures). Orthodontic treatment is NOT offered through the platform — patients seeking orthodontics should contact the Faculty of Dental Medicine directly. The platform performs no diagnosis or treatment; the suitability of each case is assessed by the student and the faculty, and treatment takes place only at the faculty under academic supervision.
