Who treats you
A senior dental medicine student treats you. They are still training, so every stage is carried out under the supervision of a teacher from the faculty, who observes the work, signs it off and is responsible for the result.
Whether your case is suitable is assessed at the faculty after an examination. A student takes only a case they are looking for at the moment, and the teacher decides whether the treatment can be done in the teaching clinic.

The faculty in Plovdiv also teaches in English, so some of its students come from abroad. Profiles list the languages each student speaks, so you can choose someone you will understand easily and ask them to call you.
What is free and what you pay
The check-up is free: you come in, your teeth are looked at, and only then do you decide whether to go on. Treatment is paid on site, at a nominal fee that the faculty sets and collects, not UniDent. It is usually a fraction of private-practice prices, but confirm it at the faculty before treatment starts. Sending a request and browsing the students cost you nothing.
Where and when
The faculty's official address is 3 Hristo Botev Blvd, in the building at the foot of Mladezhki Hill. If a student takes your case, you agree with them exactly where to come. Visits are on weekdays and follow the teaching timetable.
More time is set aside than for a usual practice appointment, and one course of treatment often needs several visits, so if you are in a hurry, a private practice will get it done sooner.
